Today House is a emergency overnight shelter for people who unexpectedly find themselves with no place to go for the night.. The shelter is governed by the Steinbach Community Outreach Board of Directors.

At Today House we provide emergency overnight shelter in a safe environment for those in greatest need in the Steinbach area.

  • Individuals or referring agencies can call 204-371-6989 anytime for information.  Individuals and referring agents can also stop by Steinbach Community Outreach during the day to arrange for assistance.
  • The shelter is open 7 nights a week.
  • Our guests will be treated with respect.
  • Our shelter has a limited capacity; a maximum of 4 individuals can be accommodated at a time.
  • Today House has a zero tolerance policy on drugs and alcohol to maintain a safe environment.
  • Guests will be presented with hygiene items, shower facilities with fresh towels, clean linens, and a bed for the night.
  • Guests will be provided with nutritious meals.
